The
start of mass production enabled everyone to enjoy the style of Art
Deco. Homes were transformed from humdrum, bland and boring places to
those which oozed chic style. Geometric and angular shapes took
precedent along with colour schemes of gloss black, silver, chrome
and red.
Many
of the designs were influenced by the new age of travel and people
used their new found affluence to travel. Advertising posters
beckoned people to holiday hot-spots and home and abroad. Many of these posters are now incredibly rare, but there's plenty of re-pros
about that you can use to adorn the walls of an Art Deco inspired
interior.
